Some years ago professor Tatsuya Sato from Ritsumeikan University took the initiative to establish collaboration on exchange of teaching and students between Ritsumeikan University and Aalborg University. As one of the first activities professor Hironori Yamaguchi visited Aalborg University for a year to study Problem Based Learning and contributed to our research on this.

This winter Ritsumeikan University and Aalborg University signed an agreement on collaboration and as the first concrete activity within this professor Tatsuya Sato was visiting Aalborg University with 5 students from Ritsumeikan University from March 7th until 14th. They participated in teaching and had arranged several activities for them with the aim of introducing different aspects of cultural psychology as this is understood here at Aalborg University. This included both lectures and exercises that hopefully reveal cultural differences and phenomena which then can be elaborated on. In part of this students from Aalborg University participated too in order to exchange points of view on the situation as youth in Japanese and Danish society presently.

Here at Aalborg University Paula Cavada-Hrepich, Sarah Awad and Mogens Jensen was hosting for the visit.
